My Ramblings:
Like almost every one else on the planet, I have read all the books and seen all the movies.  So sitting in the theater watching the final movie was somewhat bittersweet, because when the credits role there is officially no more Harry Potter to look forward to.  A very lame admission for someone of my age to admit to feeling, but who cares.  I loved every word and minute of HP, so zip it...

The Harry vs. Voldemort war finally gets settled in this final installment.  Evil has taken over the wizarding world, and the only hope is for Harry and his two sidekicks to find and destroy the remaining Horcruxes (Horcruxi?  Not quite clear how to pluralize made up words).  Along the way they run in to plenty of evil obstacles, hence the abundance of awesome actions scenes.  All the remaining questions are answered and J.K. Rowling does an amazing job of providing movie goers with a fulfilling conclusion.

The beauty of the last couple Harry Potter films has been their appeal for readers and non-readers alike.  Part 2 keeps that streak alive, and provides enough detail such that those unfamiliar with the books can keep up, but readers won't be annoyed with too much backstory.  There is no better way to say it then simply to say the movie is amazing, just as the book was.  The acting is solid, the visuals are stunining, and the final half of the movie has about as many goosebump inducing moments as you'll ever see.  If you haven't read the books, please do so because I promise you won't be dissapointed (unless you're one of those Harry Potter haters who hates everything Potter related before you even experience it).  It's been a good run Harry, and you and your compadres will be sorely missed.
